Supporting Our Folks In Psych Facilities

Project LETS is publishing a guide to support our friends + loved ones who are in psychiatric units. We are open to hearing experiences from folks who entered voluntarily and those who are being held against their will/incarcerated.

SEEKING: Insight, words of wisdom, stories, experiences, art, resources, etc. (anything to convey the message that you'd like to convey).

EXAMPLES: rights to be aware of while being involuntarily held; survival strategies; how you wished folks would have supported you while you were hospitalized; strategies for getting out of psych units; getting your needs met; why you found the hospital to be helpful/hurtful; documentation skills

ACCESS: You're welcome to share your narrative via audio note, video, or via a separate document. You have the option to submit an open-ended narrative or answer guided questions.
